Too much cleaning of the throttle will not damage the throttle, but will damage the cylinder, piston and piston ring. The problem of throttle is mainly carbon deposition. After the throttle cleaner is often used for cleaning, a large amount of cleaner enters the cylinder and dissolves the engine oil (lubricating oil) on the cylinder wall. Starting the engine after cleaning will cause excessive wear of the cylinder wall because there is no lubricating oil.

If the engine is cleaned when it is in working condition, the cleaning agent will burn after entering the cylinder and will not dissolve the lubricating oil on the cylinder wall. However, when the cleaning agent enters the cylinder, it is equivalent to adding more gasoline, which leads to the mismatch between the throttle opening of the engine and the fuel supply and speed. At this time, the engine diagnosis system may give a fault code and display it on the dashboard. To eliminate this fault code, it is very troublesome to connect the decoder (automobile fault diagnosis instrument) and adjust the corresponding parameters.

The best solution is to remove the throttle and clean it. There is no problem mentioned above at all. However, 4S is in trouble with the repair shop and generally won't agree to do so. Of course, the owner is willing to add some money, and he is still very happy.
