Does this solar term mean more snow? Not necessarily!

The solar term of heavy snow usually falls on February 7 or 8 of 12, which is also the end of the dry calendar and the beginning of next month. Heavy snow means colder weather, and the possibility of snowfall is greater than that of light snow. This doesn't mean that there must be a lot of snowfall.

From this perspective, the solar terms of heavy snow, like light snow, rain and Grain Rain, are all solar terms that directly reflect precipitation.

Although the climate is cold in winter, snow covers the earth, which forms a kind of "protection" for the ground and crops. Even if there is a cold current, the temperature will not drop very low.
