When does the hedgehog hibernate?

In the observation, it was found that hedgehogs refused to hibernate when the temperature dropped to 12 degrees Celsius, and still kept their body temperature by eating more to drive out the cold. When the temperature drops to seven degrees Celsius, the hedgehog goes into hibernation. Hedgehogs hibernate for six or seven months. After hibernation, their body temperature drops and other physiological functions are weakened. For example, a conscious hedgehog breathes about 50 times a minute, hibernating up to 8 times, sometimes only once, or even for a few minutes. The conscious hedgehog's heartbeat is 200 times per minute, and it is reduced to 20 times during hibernation.
