For example, you may understand that, for example, Artiodactyl is a vertebrate, while horse is an Artiodactyl, so horse is a vertebrate. This is a syllogism, the major premise is artiodactyla, the minor premise is large groups of vertebrates, and finally it is due to the major premise. The conclusion is that horses are cloven-hoofed animals, which is a correct syllogism, and a wrong syllogism is easy to mislead others. For example, universities in China are all over the country, and universities in China are in Tsinghua, so Tsinghua is all over the country. This is a wrong example. In this example, the major premise is that universities in China are all over the country, and the minor premise is that Tsinghua is a university in China, so the conclusion cannot be that Tsinghua is all over the country. So this is a wrong syllogism, which often appears in composition, so we should use critical thinking to think about what typical mistakes will appear in composition.
