What is the third spring?
Sanchun (pinyin: sānchūn) has multiple meanings and can refer to the third month of spring; Three months in spring; Sanchun and so on. In ancient times, Sanchun meant three months of spring, the first month of the lunar calendar was called Meng Chun, the second month was called Midspring, and the third month was called Ji Chun. Han Bangu's "Zhong Nanshan Fu": "The season of March, the beginning of summer dream, the sky is clear, the square is octagonal." Tang Bai Juyi's poem "I don't feel the account stove": "Leave hate in March, and the ceremony is in October."
1, Meng Chun is the first month of spring, to be exact, it is the period from beginning of spring to the dormant month. The lunar year is divided into twelve months: Meng Chun, Midspring, Ji Chun, Xia Meng, Midsummer, Late Summer, Qiu Meng, Midautumn, Qiu Ji, Mengdong, Midwinter and Jidong.
Midspring, the second month of spring, is the second month of the lunar calendar. Because it is in spring, it is called mid-spring. Mid-spring belongs to the two solar terms of the 24 solar terms: fright and vernal equinox.
