Why is it still very cold after beginning of spring?
Changes of pressure system: With the arrival of beginning of spring, the polar low pressure belt in high latitudes gradually moves northward, while the strong Siberian high will appear in the east and north of Asia, resulting in the temperature drop. This change is usually obvious within a few weeks or months.
Heat transfer: In early spring, the days are long and the nights are short, and the heat transfer in the atmosphere and ocean is still in a cold state. Therefore, although beginning of spring marks the beginning of spring, the temperature may still be very low, because the heat transfer in the atmosphere and ocean takes some time to take effect.
Geographical location and monsoon: The influence of different regions and seasonal wind systems may also lead to the cold after beginning of spring. For example, in northern China, winter is usually affected by the cold current from Siberia, which makes the temperature very low. In some parts of Southeast Asia, it may be affected by the monsoon. The humidity and low air pressure brought by the monsoon may lead to cold and humid weather.
Therefore, although beginning of spring marks the beginning of spring, it will take some time for the temperature to warm up, and many factors may cause the weather to remain cold.
