In 2023, the Cangxi Pear Flower Festival will last from March 22nd to March 3rd1.

The first "China Cangxi Pear Flower Festival" was grandly opened. Activities such as the Folk Culture Concert of the Pear Blossom Festival, Eco-home Tour, Flower Appreciation Tour, Merchants' Fair, and Agricultural Products Exhibition are deeply favored.

In 2006, the first stop of CCTV-7 "Country World" column "Socialist New Countryside" entered Cangxi Pear Blossom Festival, and successively ushered in the National Senior Expert Forum on the Plan of Enriching the People with Ecological Homes, the CPPCC United Front Work Seminar in the Adjacent Area of Qinba, the launching ceremony of Sichuan Rural Well-off Environmental Protection Action and Northeast Sichuan Rural Tourism, and the launching ceremony of Sichuan Jialing River Basin Eco-cultural Tourism, which were held ceremoniously during the Pear Blossom Festival.

Since 2003, the Cangxi County Party Committee and the county government have made a breakthrough in the development of emerging tourism with flowers as the medium. West Wudang Mountain Scenic Area, the starting point of the Long March of the Red Fourth Army, ranks among the national 100 classic red scenic spots, and has been established as a national AAA-level scenic spot together with China Cangxi Pear Culture Expo Park.

The Red Army culture and green ecological culture complement each other, forming a tourism brand of "Red Army Crossing in Jialing, an ecological home tour in Lixiang" and becoming an indispensable cultural feast for Cangxi people. Promoting classics by festivals and attracting investment by festivals are the soul of the Pear Blossom Festival. The 6th Pear Blossom Festival signed 59 investment projects/KLOC-0, with an introduction of 4.498 billion yuan, which promoted sustained and rapid economic and social development.

In the past five years, the average annual growth rate of GDP has increased from 5.6% in the previous five years to 12. 1%, the total industrial output value has increased fourfold, the investment in fixed assets of the whole society has increased by 1.7 times, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods and the balance of deposits of urban and rural residents have doubled. Successfully established as "National Ecological Agriculture Demonstration County", "National First Ecological Demonstration Zone" and "Civilized County of Sichuan Province".
