4. Measure the clearance between the end of the valve stem and the rocker arm with a thickness gauge. If the thickness gauge cannot be inserted or there is still a gap after insertion, please adjust the valve clearance again. The normal clearance of S 195 diesel engine is 0.30.4mm, and the exhaust valve clearance is 0.40.5 mm; In a cold state.

5. Loosen the lock nut for adjusting the valve clearance, twist the adjusting screw, and measure with a thickness gauge until the measured value meets the specified value. Tighten the lock nut while keeping the adjusting screw still.
