Pedestrians on the road want to die.
Du Mu's poems in Tang Dynasty more than 1000 years ago are still widely sung in Tomb-Sweeping Day every year.
As one of the 24 solar terms, Tomb-Sweeping Day is also a festival for people to pay homage to their ancestors. It is said that the origin of the memorial ceremony began with the "tomb sacrifice" ceremony of ancient emperors, and later people followed suit. Sacrificing ancestors to sweep graves on this day has been inherited from generation to generation and has become a fixed custom of the Chinese nation. In the Tang Dynasty, the day of offering sacrifices to sweep the graves was designated as the Cold Food Festival, which was the day for people to sweep the graves. On that day, there were no fireworks, only cold food. Because it is near Tomb-Sweeping Day, it has gradually become one.
As a traditional festival, it has lasted for more than two thousand years, but the grief in the festival seems to be lighter than in ancient times. Nowadays, there are various forms of memorial service. Paper money used to be burned indiscriminately. Now, fireworks, firecrackers, flowers and even people are inseparable. Others pay to cry at the grave. I think it is always something we should be grateful for and do to express our grief for our deceased ancestors in any form.
At this time, most of the people we pay homage to are our closest relatives and ancestors, who are no longer with us and quietly leave after half-life. We are always busy. As time goes by, we forget or have no time to remember. Only at a certain moment will memories come to mind. In fact, when we were young, yesterday, they were around us, which made us happy and worried. So real, the voice and smile are still there, just out of reach, the eyes are moist, and the tears shed at that time are very real and sad.
Time is so ruthless, like an hourglass, you can't catch it, you can only let it flow; But time is so fair, taking away our ancestors will always leave us more hope for life.
As the saying goes, during the Qingming period, the wheat grows in three sections; "The question of a hundred years old" also said: "When everything grows, it is clean and bright, hence the name Qingming." Although it is a festival to pay homage to the dead, it is also a time when everything grows, so that people will not be completely depressed. Everything is always a perfect interpretation of yin and yang, which breeds lost sadness in the lush life. Therefore, Tomb-Sweeping Day has the customs of hiking, planting trees and flying kites. On the contrary, it confirms the poem: "Falling red is not a heartless thing, but turning into spring mud protects flowers more."
Pay tribute to those who have passed away and thank them for giving birth to us with their lives. Sometimes, life is full of love!
