Jetta throttle disassembly

Jetta universal joint can be disassembled as follows:

1. Lift the front end of the vehicle with a jack. Place the jack at the front of the frame to ensure stability. Drain transmission oil to prevent leakage. Fill the transmission plug;

2. Prepare a liquid container and disconnect the oil drain plug of the transmission. Ensure the integrity of the drive shaft assembly by creating reference marks. Remove the assembly clamp or bolt to drive the drive shaft;

3. Remove the shackle and the transmission shaft from the transmission. Fix the bearing cover with adhesive tape for the anti-collision needle roller bearing. Stabilized on the auxiliary transmission shaft. Delete the tape. Pass the bearing through the dismounting retaining ring from the yoke;

4. Use sleeves with different sizes and levers provided by a vise to keep the bearing cover away from the yoke. Push the cover onto the assembly with pliers. Turn the drive shaft around the vice and repeat the above procedure at the other end;

5. Two universal joint forks and universal joints from the transmission shaft. Remove all dust and debris from the entire drive shaft assembly to ensure that it is completely clean. Apply a small amount of grease to the replaced cover. Partially insert the bearing cover into the yoke and replace the bearing cover;

6. Install the universal joint on the cover. Partially insert the opposite cover. Align the universal joint and push the cover to the correct position with a press. Insert the retaining ring. Will drive the position of the shaft. Ensure that the yoke is correctly aligned with the drive shaft.
