Idle state: refers to a working state when the engine is idling. Idle speed refers to the speed value when the engine works stably without stepping on the accelerator after starting. (Note: Smooth running) The idle speed of the car can be 0 to the maximum speed (excluding 0).
According to GB 18285-2005, the idling condition refers to the no-load running state of the engine. That is, the clutch is in the engaged position and the transmission is in the neutral position (the car with automatic transmission should be in the "parking" or "P" position); In the automobile equipped with carburetor fuel supply system, the choke valve is in the full open position; The accelerator pedal is in the fully released position. High idle condition means that the above conditions (except the last one) are met. The accelerator pedal stably controls the engine speed at 50% rated speed or high idle speed specified in the manufacturer's technical documents.
