For example, this year's summer heat is July 23rd, and the next solar term in beginning of autumn is August 7th, which happens to be15th day in the middle. The summer heat is the twelfth of the twenty-four solar terms. The weather in Sri Lanka is much stronger than the slight summer heat, so it is called the great summer heat. Twenty-four solar terms are a knowledge system formed by ancient ancestors following the agricultural season and understanding the changing laws of seasons, climate and phenology in a year by observing the movement of celestial bodies.
