Jimny O2 sensor is not responding.

The main reasons for the failure of oxygen sensor are:

1. In the process of engine closed-loop control with oxygen sensor, the air-fuel ratio of the mixture is always controlled near the theoretical air-fuel ratio, and there is almost no excess fuel in the exhaust, but the engine needs to be supplemented with enough fuel just after starting.

2. Lead poisoning is a phenomenon that lead ions in fuel or lubricating oil additives react with platinum electrode of oxygen sensor, which leads to the decrease of catalytic performance of platinum catalyst.

3. There are silicon ions in silicone sealants on the engine, silicone injection parts in castings and silicon additives, which will pollute the external electrode of the oxygen sensor, and the silicone rubber used to seal the internal terminal of the oxygen sensor will pollute the internal electrode.
