What is a car with a vent on the hood?

There are several models of cars with vents on the hood:

1, 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427:

The hood air intake shown here is only available in the 67 Corvette, which is specially used for cars with 427 engines. As you may have guessed, the original 67 car had this air intake, but now it seems incredible.
