Maintenance method of throttle valve

Throttle is a controllable valve, which is used to control air to enter the engine. After entering the intake pipe, it is mixed with gasoline to form combustible gas mixture, which participates in combustion and does work. It is called the throat of an automobile engine.

Throttle failure, such as excessive carbon deposition in the throttle, will lead to the cylinder not closing and air leakage. Normally, if the throttle is too dirty, a yellow fault signal light will light up. Or found idling jitter, poor refueling, etc. What's more, the pressure in the cylinder and the compression temperature of mixed gas can't meet the ignition conditions, which leads to the failure of the cooler to start the car, incomplete combustion, no power for the car and the sound of guns in the exhaust pipe.

Cleaning the throttle valve is very important:

1. If there is a plastic heat shield on the engine, it needs to be removed first.

2. When the hood is removed, the throttle can be seen under normal circumstances. There are some air pipes around the throttle, which need to be removed, and the position of each pipe should be clearly recorded.

3. After removing the air pipeline on the throttle, you can remove the whole throttle.

4. The side of the throttle near the combustion chamber is generally dirty with traces of black carbon deposition, which is the main part that needs cleaning.

5. Cleaning the throttle is mainly to remove carbon deposits on it, and special throttle cleaning liquid or cleaner can be used. It should be noted here that the cleaning principle of this cleaning agent is to dissolve carbon deposit, and its composition is harmful to human body. Wear gloves and masks when cleaning.

6. Spray the cleaner to the position with more carbon deposits on the throttle, and wait for about 5- 10 minutes to dissolve the carbon deposits. Using brushes can speed up the removal of carbon deposits.

7. When you see that the stain on the accelerator has completely dissolved, you can wipe the detergent inside the accelerator with a clean towel.

8. Install the cleaned throttle valve on the machine body according to the original position, and then install all air pipelines to complete the whole process of cleaning the throttle valve. After all the hardware is installed, throttle needs to be initialized.
