The occurrence and development of pulmonary nodules and lung cancer is a process of insufficient healthy qi and excessive pathogenic factors. Deficiency of healthy qi is the internal cause of its occurrence and development. Under the condition of insufficient healthy qi, most external factors invade the body. For pulmonary nodules that usually have no obvious symptoms and can only be found by CT examination, we can call them "occult pulmonary nodules". For lung tumor, we can call it "malignant pneumophila".
