The intake valve is larger than the exhaust valve, because the exhaust is squeezed out by piston pressure, and the intake air is naturally inhaled in vacuum, so the exhaust is relatively easy. If the intake and exhaust channels have the same area, the air intake will be obviously insufficient. It's even worse if it's changed. Nominal displacement has no corresponding work. Therefore, some turbocharged engines only increase the intake pressure to make up for the lack of intake.
