Did Yushu first frost move indoors before?

After the first frost in Yushu, if the temperature is below 7 degrees, it is necessary to move indoors.

Yushu likes a warm, dry and sunny environment. Not cold-resistant, afraid of strong light, slightly resistant to shade. The soil is fertile sandy loam with good drainage. The temperature is not lower than 7℃ in winter.

The propagation method is mainly cutting propagation of old leaves and twigs, which can be carried out from early spring to late autumn. When the leaves are inserted into thick leaves with leaf bases, the top branches with good development and strong growth are selected for softwood cutting, which is 8- 10 cm long and spread for several days.

After the pulp is slightly dry and the leaves are slightly wrinkled, insert the leaves obliquely in plain sand or sandy soil, with a cutting depth of 1/4- 1/3 of the length of the leaves and a cutting depth of 2-3 cm. Proper shading and maintaining a certain humidity can take root in about 30 days.

Potted maintenance:

When the root length of the cutting seedlings reaches 2-3 cm, the seedlings with good root growth are selected for pots. It is best to choose a purple sand basin with good drainage and permeability. When filling a basin, first place coarse-grained matrix or ceramsite with a thickness of 2-3 cm at the bottom of the basin as a filter layer.

Sprinkle a layer of fully decomposed organic fertilizer with a thickness of about 1-2cm on it, cover it with a layer of nutrient soil with a thickness of about 8- 10cm, and then put it into the plant to separate the fertilizer from the root system and avoid burning the root.
