So the pressure from parents will make young people a little uncomfortable, and naturally they don't want to go home;

Imagine that in ancient times, if you were in a distant place and wanted to go home to visit your parents, you might have to walk on the road for half a month. At most, you will receive several letters from home, but you only see their words and don't know them. Even decades ago, I could make a phone call, but I couldn't hear anyone's voice. Today, with a mobile phone, I can video chat with my parents every day, but I can't fly or take the high-speed train, and I can see my parents in a few hours. So, naturally, there would be no homesickness in the past.

Third, free personality. Modern young people are more self-centered, more individual and like to follow their own rhythm and feelings. They usually go back to see if they are homesick, and they always want to go back. There is no fixed timetable. So there is no such desire to go home for the New Year.
