What are the effects of temperature and pressure on the viscosity of hydraulic oil?

Effect: As the temperature rises, the viscosity of oil decreases. The change of oil viscosity directly affects the performance and leakage of hydraulic system. After production started at normal temperature for a period of time, the oil pump sounded. Treatment method:

1): The oil suction pipe is of poor quality or the throat code is not tightened. Remove the filter screen and check whether it is deformed. Whether the oil suction pipe is layered. Replace tubing and screen.

2): The filter screen is not clean. Whether there are too many impurities in hydraulic oil. Clean the filter.

3): Oil pump wear: Check the wear of the oil distribution plate and the end face of the oil pump rotor. Replace oil pump.

The choice of hydraulic oil viscosity mainly depends on the type of hydraulic pump, working pressure, starting temperature, working temperature and ambient temperature. The viscosity requirements of hydraulic oil used in different regions and seasons are different. If the viscosity is too large, the pipeline resistance loss is large, the suction performance of the hydraulic pump is poor, and cavitation is easy to occur.

Even the hydraulic pump will be damaged; At the same time, it also reduces the system efficiency and the flexibility of component action. If the viscosity is too small, the leakage will increase and the volumetric efficiency will decrease; At the same time, poor lubrication performance leads to increased wear and even sintering. The working temperature of medium and low pressure hydraulic system is generally 40 ~ 50℃ higher than the ambient temperature.

At this temperature, the viscosity of hydraulic oil should be 13 ~ 16mm2/s, and the viscosity of hydraulic oil should not be lower than10mm2/s. The working temperature of high-pressure hydraulic system is about 10℃ higher than that of low-pressure system. In order to reduce the high leakage rate related to pressure, the working viscosity should be greater than about 25mm2/s. ..
