The oil tank, also known as the oil-gas separator, is mainly used to reduce the oil in crankcase ventilation from entering the combustion chamber through the throttle valve for combustion. Theoretically, after installing an oil tank in the middle of the crankcase ventilation pipe, the blowby gas discharged from the crankcase ventilation system will stay in the oil tank for a period of time, so that the oil and gasoline in the mixed gas can be separated and condensed. The oil pot is divided into two working chambers, and the precipitated oil flows back to the oil pan after entering the lower chamber; The separated combustible mixture enters the upper cavity and is finally introduced into the air inlet to participate in combustion. In addition, installing an oil respirator can reduce the oil pollution adhering to the inner wall of the air intake and the throttle to a certain extent, reduce the formation of carbon deposits and improve the combustion situation. At present, the commonly installed oil-passing pots are all filtered through the filter screen, which requires users to replace the filter screen regularly. But many car owners don't know the application conditions. If the filter screen that is not replaced for a long time is blocked, the pressure in the crankcase will increase, which will lead to air leakage and oil leakage of the relevant pipeline joints and gaskets of the engine. Moreover, if the installation level of the oil respirator is poor, it will also destroy the air tightness of the relevant pipelines of the engine and affect the working efficiency of the engine.
