Why do you need to clean the accelerator regularly?

Whether the acceleration of a car is flexible or not has a great relationship with the cleanliness of the throttle. During the working process of EFI engine, a small part of exhaust gas produced by in-cylinder combustion will produce carbon deposition at the throttle body through the intake valve and intake pipe. In addition, after the air passes through the air filter (especially the air filter with long service life), impurities will remain in the throttle. Fouling for a long time will form dirt on the throttle body, which will lead to the increase of throttle opening and closing resistance and unstable engine idle speed, so the throttle should be cleaned regularly. At present, most cars have electronic throttles, that is, the throttle is opened at a small angle to provide air intake at idle speed. This part of the air intake is provided by a small gap between the valve plate and the pipeline, and this position will be affected if it is dirty. Too much carbon deposit will block part of the air intake gap. In order to maintain normal idle speed, the engine will further learn to increase the throttle opening, but the fuel consumption will increase after the throttle opening becomes larger.
