What is the sign of thunder and lightning in winter?

This can be explained from two aspects:

1. Popular science: Because the warm and humid air on the ground and the cold air in the northwest go south and collide with the solar radiation, the upper and lower air do not convection and rub in the air, thus forming lightning!

2. TCM: Winter belongs to Tibet. "Hiding" means hiding the yang in winter (winter represents a kind of kinetic energy here). Once it thunders in winter, it means that heaven and earth can't hide the sun be the spirit! Then some hairy (positive) animals will die in large numbers in spring, leading to epidemics such as "bird flu" or "foot-and-mouth disease". There is even a saying among the people: "Thunder hits the east, and ten cowsheds are nine empty."
