The custom of falling into a water bag
Water bag is a very famous food in Bobai. Every winter solstice comes, we will play the leading role like jiaozi on New Year's Eve in the north. Every household will make their own water bags and eat them on holidays. It's freezing outside, cooking hot water bottles at home, eating and drinking around the heater and enjoying family happiness. So we say: the solstice in winter celebrates the New Year. This drowning bag is made of local high-quality glutinous rice. Soak and drain, grind into powder, and make into drowning bag. The most critical step is to stir glutinous rice flour with boiling water. First, most of the flour is made into blocks with water, then boiled in boiling water (called cooked mound), taken out and ground until glutinous rice flour is ground into sticky glutinous rice balls. The whole process takes about fifteen minutes.
