4a 15j 1 engine made in China. 4a 15j 1 engine is a 1.5 displacement turbocharged engine independently developed and produced by GAC Chuanqi.

Guangzhou Automobile Chuanqi developed the 4a 15j 1 engine to replace the previous generation 4A 15M 1 engine, which is the one on Chuanqi GS4.

As of July12,2065438, Chuanqi GM6 and GS5 models are mainly equipped with 4a 15j 1 engines. In the future, it will be carried on the A+/B class cars and SUV models of Guangzhou Automobile Group.

In terms of parameters, the maximum power 124Kw (maximum power speed is 5000rpm), the maximum horsepower 169Ps, and the maximum torque is 265Nm (maximum torque speed range 1700-4000rpm).

4a 15j 1 Engine now has many advanced technologies, such as electronically controlled variable displacement oil pump, dual VVT of intake and exhaust, timing silent chain, electronically controlled waste gas valve, roller rocker arm hydraulic tappet and so on.
