How is rice planted?

The rice planting method is as follows:

1. Sowing: Generally, the sowing date around Xiaoman is the most suitable. In cold areas, it can be advanced to April 20, and no later than the end of May. Sowing depth should master the principle that soil moisture is easy to be shallow and soil moisture is poor and easy to be deep, and the sowing depth is generally 3 ~ 4 cm.

2. Intercropping: Early cropping can reduce the crowding of millet seedlings and improve the environmental conditions of light, water and fertilizer. The best time for intercropping is about one inch (3-4 leaves).

3. Topdressing: At the 5-6 leaf stage for the first time, apply urea 10kg/ mu along the ridge, and turn the fertilizer into the soil in combination with intertillage and seedling fixing. The second time, at the jointing stage (seedling height is about one foot), apply 20 kg/mu of urea, and the method is the same as above. The third time, at booting stage, topdressing urea 20 kg/mu or combined irrigation in rainy days.

4. Weeding: Special herbicides can be selected. It can eliminate common annual weeds and Shuang Ye weeds in rice fields, such as crabgrass, barnyard grass, bristlegrass, cattail, purslane, amaranth and Chenopodium.

5. Harvest: When the glume shell of millet turns yellow and the grain becomes hard, it can be harvested to avoid the loss caused by bird pecking. Finally, professional machines process rice.
