Camry throttle matching method

The first thing to know is that you don't need to match the cable throttle, but the electronic throttle.

1. After changing the throttle, disconnect the negative battery for a few minutes, and the vehicle will go to sleep. During this process, the original memory of the on-board computer will be restored to the factory settings. Then, reconnect the battery negative power cord and start the ignition test run until it is normal.

2. If you have a 5053 data cable at hand, the method is as follows: VCDS 10.6.3 software, enter the "Engine" module, enter "Match", enter "000" in the channel number, and then click OK (the purpose of this is to clear the memory data of the original ECU about the throttle).

Return to "Basic Settings", enter "060" in the channel number, and click "OK/OK". The data displayed on the right will complete the throttle matching.

Throttle with cable does not need to be matched:

Throttle has one more component than electronic throttle, namely idle motor. When the refueling door is idling, the cable throttle valve is completely closed, and the air required for idling is entered by the idling motor.

Therefore, there is no self-adjustment ability to pull the throttle. If you don't step on it, you will turn it off and open as much as you want. Whether it is cleaned or not, the computer always thinks that it is completely closed without stepping on the accelerator, and there is no need to match it.
