Ordinary world Chapter 7

After the family ate some rice in a hurry, Shao Ping's mother packed a can of sorghum, black beans and Qian Qian porridge. She felt sorry for her son-in-law, so she put some leftover black steamed bread, chopsticks and sour cabbage in the bowl above the rice jar.

Shao Ping immediately filed a rice jar, carrying a small bundle of bedrolls out of the house, and went to the primary school in the village to give these things to his fallen brother-in-law. In order to get it easily, he rolled a little wheat in the bedroll.

He walked out of the yard, down a small slope and onto the highway. The moon has risen from fairy mountain and Miaoping Mountain, vaguely reflecting the vague villages and the earth.

Shao Ping's family is at the southernmost village head, with a single house and no contact with other families in the village.

After a short walk, it is Tianjiagelao-a cave with earthen kiln and stone kiln, going door to door; The heights are patchy and layered. Most of the Tian family in Shuangshui village live here, so it is called Tian family Gelao. His second father, Sun Yuting, also lives here, not far from the home of Tian, the secretary of the brigade. At first, they lived here, too, and moved when he was two years old. It was 1960, and it was a difficult time. In Shanxi, he is the second father who works as a worker in Taiyuan Iron and Steel Plant. Suddenly he quit and ran home to propose to his brother. After the second father married the second mother, life became the first problem. The old man left a cave in his hand, so his father had to give it to his second father and them to live in. The whole family borrowed a cave in Jinbo's house across the river for several years. Later, my father looked at the earthen kiln where he lives now, which is a new home.

In the old society, most of the old Tian family in Tianjiage were poor people in the village. Later, several miscellaneous surnames from other villages lived in this area. Now, except for Tian's quadrangles, most of them are still dilapidated. Although the new society has been more than 20 years, ordinary villagers dare not even think about building houses in hoop kilns.

Opposite Tianjiage, a small river as thin as hemp rope flows out of the ditch between Miaoping Mountain and fairy mountain, and flows into Dongla River at Dagou Road. Where the two rivers meet, a small delta is formed. At the corner of the delta, there is a Longwang Temple which was built in unknown age. Now, this temple has become a dilapidated courtyard except for a patchwork stage. Before it was completely dilapidated, the primary school in the village was there-it was also a place for public meetings in the village. Later, a new primary school was built, and this place was useless except for the Yangko performance in the Spring Festival for a few days. Now any meeting in the village has been moved to the newly-built primary school yard. Because there is a temple in this place, this delta is called Miaoping. Miaoping can be said to be the scenic spot of Shuangshui Village-because there is a dense jujube forest on this Tu Ping. This jujube tree originally belonged to a family named Jin, and after the cooperation, it became the property of the whole village. Every summer, there will be a lovely emerald here. On August 15 of the ancient calendar, the dates are all red. Black branches, red dates and yellow-green leaves are colorful and charming. Whenever jujube is played, it can be said that it is the biggest festival in Shuangshui Village for four or five days. During this period, everyone in the village can play dates, and everyone who plays dates can let go of their bellies and eat. In this backcountry, there is nothing rare to eat. Red dates are as precious as agate. How many people's appetites are spoiled by that season! Some people often have diarrhea for more than ten days after playing dates. ...

Behind the jujube forest in Miaoping is Miaoping Mountain. This mountain is higher than other mountains around the village, so the golden rooster is independent and gives people a particularly conspicuous feeling. In recent years, the village has gone all out to build terraces on this mountain. Now the terraces have been rolled up to the top of the mountain layer by layer. From a distance, it looks like a huge flower roll. This mountain, this temple, this jujube forest and the intersection of the two waters in front of the temple add a lot of scenery to Shuangshui Village.

Get off the expressway at Tianjiagelao, cross the Dongla River, and cross a path in the jujube forest in the delta, which is the Chuishui River that meets the Dongla River in front of the temple. Although the river is small, it has an extraordinary history. Legend has it that there was no water in this ditch in ancient times. At that time, a daughter of the Jade Emperor in heaven came here, fell in love with an epigenetic named Jin, and even postponed her death. Later, the jade emperor was furious and ordered her to go to heaven at once. If she doesn't come up in two days, he will turn her into a dirt mountain on the spot. But the fairy can't give up the love between people and disobey her father's orders. She vowed to be with her lover even if she became the earth. Two days later, she became an ordinary Huang Tu person. Her earthly lover was heartbroken, kneeling at the foot of the dirt mountain she turned into every day and sobbing until she died. Legend has it that his tears made this river. People call the earth mountain that the fairy turned into a fairy mountain, and the river that the tears flow into is called the crying river. ...

This is, of course, a myth fabricated by the ancestors of the Kim family to show off the family. Because of this, the ancestral grave of the Jin family is at the foot of Fairy Mountain on the north bank of the outer river, and there are many people named Jin buried in that grave. I don't know which generation planted some cypress trees in the cemetery, and now they are as thick as barrels. In winter, the land is desolate, suddenly far away and suddenly near, and only those cypresses are lush and green, which are particularly eye-catching.

It is because of the Dongla River and the Chuishui River that this village was named Shuangshui Village.

On the crying river, there is a small bridge that can be crossed in a few steps. The oldest people in the village don't know when the bridge was built. It collapses every year, but it exists every year.

Crossing the weeping river bridge is Jinjiawan. Except for a few miscellaneous surnames, most of them live in the Jin family. In the sunny bay, families live in crowded places. Only in Houshanzui, opposite the ancestral grave of Jinjia, there are two other big families, both surnamed Jin: one is the second team leader Jin Jun and three brothers; Another big family is the three brothers Jin, who are all landlords.

In ancient times, in the old society, the Jin family was always the owner of Shuangshui Village. This land and everything on it belong to the Kim family. It is said that during the Song and Ming Dynasties, the Jin family had several big landlords who were very famous in the state capital. Presumably, the land they occupied at that time was far beyond the scope of Shuangshui Village. However, it is said that at the end of the Ming Dynasty, the Hu people in Erdos, Mongolia once invaded here on a large scale, killing and robbing the big landlord, basically kicking out all his possessions and never developing again. By the time of the land reform, the Jin family had already subscribed to the landlords and rich peasants, some of whom were middle peasants, and most of them were poor peasants and lower middle peasants.

However, in terms of accommodation, the caves in Jinjiawan area are obviously stronger than those in Tianjiage. Although it seems that most of them are collapsed walls and rotten houses, there are always some dilapidated doors and walls with rotten needles showing signs of the past. Moreover, many people's earth holes are holding up stone mouths. Some people's old doors and windows, at first glance, are dark and old, but a closer look shows that the original workmanship is fine and there are carvings, indicating that this facade has had a glorious moment.

Between Jinjiawan Caotang and Cypress Cemetery, not far from the suspension bridge, there is a small Tu Ping, and Shuangshui Village Primary School is here. There are seven or eight big stone kilns in this school, all of which are classrooms, and the highest one is grade five; After reading the fifth grade doll, Shijie Festival will be in junior high school. After school in the afternoon, the school is often empty-teachers and students are in the village. The school yard is very big, with a pair of non-standard basketball stands built by villagers. The students are relatively young, mainly young people in the village, and come back from work to play for a while. As I said before, this place has now replaced the temple and become the center of the village.

Since the Shigejie commune held the farmland capital construction conference in Shuangshui village, the school classroom has become the foothold of migrant workers at night. Of course, this place can only accommodate a small number of people, and most of the migrant workers live in idle kilns in various villages. Migrant workers living in school classrooms must roll up their bedding the next morning and concentrate in a cave with sports equipment next to them so that students can have classes during the day. In the evening, migrant workers put tables together to make beds.

These days, the school has also set aside a hole in the cave to live in "labor camps" for people in various villages. A new member came to this cave today: Wang Manyin.

Now, these people have come back from work and concentrated in this cave. A militiaman with a gun looked after him at the door. After dinner, this person can lead these people to the peasant workers' big stove ... Sun Shaoping came down from the road in Tianjiagelao with his bedding and rice pot on his back, carefully stepped on the stones, crossed the Dongla River, crossed the Miaoping River, came over from the bridge of the Weeping River and walked straight to the yard of the primary school. He knows this place too well because he has studied here for five years.

Entering the school yard, the man with the gun came face to face, somehow still smiling. Shao Ping looked carefully in the moonlight, only to find that this man is the brother of one of his junior high school classmates. That classmate came from a mountain village and didn't go to high school later. In junior high school, one year they went to Xiashan village to study agriculture, lived in their home and became familiar with their home.

His brother smiled shyly and said, "I'm afraid your brother-in-law didn't pack up tonight!" " "

Shao Ping is not in the mood to stay in this place. He said to his classmate's brother, "Can you call my brother-in-law out?" Let me give him these things. ""How is that possible? I didn't commit a capital crime! " The classmate's brother came to the door with a gun and shouted, "Wang Manyin, come out! " "

After walking out of the threshold, he was surprised to see that it was his brother-in-law, so he straightened up and showed some shame on his face. Shao Ping put the bedroll and rice jar on the ground and said to his brother-in-law, "There is some food in this bedroll, just give it to the big stove ..."

Without thinking about anything, Wang Manyin quickly grabbed a black bun in the bowl above the rice jar, took a bite, swallowed it almost without chewing, and pinched her neck.

After swallowing this meal, he asked Shao Ping, "I wonder if your sister and cats and dogs are eggs ..."

"It's all in our house." Shao Ping looked at him in disgust.

"That's good ... go back and tell your sister that I'm waiting for everything! Tell her not to worry ... "He turned his head, looked at the young man with a gun in the distance, and then whispered to Shao Ping," Tell your sister that there are dozens of bags of rat poison for her to hide on the box cover at home. Dare not tell the doll that I don't know how to eat, and ask her ... "

Shao Ping turned angrily. He really wants to slap this disappointing brother-in-law!

He walked down the small slope of the school and walked along the crying river to the hut in Jinjiawan. Instead of going home, he went to live at Kimble's house. There is no place to live at home. He comes back every Saturday and spends the night at Kimble's house. It is warm and clean there, and Jinbo's mother and sister treat him like family. Only here can we spend the most comfortable moment in his heavy life.

When Shao Ping walked near the bridge over the Weeping River, he saw a woman coming from the path in the middle of Miaoping Zaolin across the street. Before he could see who it was, he heard the man calling his name. As soon as I heard the voice, I knew it was his second mother.

Shao Ping didn't respect the elder in his heart. This woman with a Shanxi accent came to his door and drove her family out of the ancestral old kiln. In the later years, after studying for a few days, she didn't take this family seriously at all, always cursing his mother with dirty words; He also pulled out the name of his long-dead grandfather to scold him. Until Shao Ange grew up, when she scolded his mother again, her brother gave her a good beating, and her nose and mouth were bleeding. Later, she stopped insulting their family. Later, their brother grew up, and his brother became the production captain and became a man in the village. She and her second father are more afraid of fire. Both parents are poor and active, and they are very responsible in the team. One is a branch member of the brigade, and the other is a woman director. There was a meeting in the middle of the night, and three dolls were left unattended at home. They are in a bad situation, and their second dad often wears rags and thin clothes. When he is hungry, he often tells others revolutionary truth. The villagers don't say anything, but who doesn't laugh at them behind their backs!

Now, the director of women has come from the bridge over the crying river, and Shao Ping sees her hair polished-usually with a wooden comb soaked in her own saliva. And put on the old red silk coat when I got married; Because the coat is too short, the red edge of the cotton-padded jacket is exposed below, which is very eye-catching. The second mother's dress shows that she will appear in public again tonight. Sure enough, she stood up and said to Shao Ping, "Tonight, the commune combat headquarters will hold a criticism meeting in the school yard. Aren't you going to attend? ..... I was asked to lead the arrangement of the venue. I just put the bowl down ... Alas, your brother-in-law ... "She sighed and expressed her sympathy and regret, letting Shao Ping know that she is also a member of this family after all. Shao Ping said to her, "Go about your business. I'll go to Jinbo's house."

He greeted his second mother coldly and turned away.
