What is three winters?

Three winters refer to Meng Dong, Midwinter and Ji Dong.

The three winters of the ancients were Meng Dong, Midwinter and Ji Dong. Meng Dong: Meng Dong is the first month of winter, corresponding to October of the lunar calendar. In spring and summer, the height of the sun in the northern hemisphere becomes smaller, the temperature in the south gradually drops, and the climate in the north is cold. Midwinter: Midwinter is the second month of winter. The winter solstice includes two solar terms: heavy snow and winter solstice.
