Planting time and method of black beans

Planting black beans is generally in spring and autumn; Planting methods should start with land selection, fertilization, soil preparation, sowing and management.

1, land selection

Black beans are usually planted in March-April in spring and August-September in autumn. At this time, the temperature is suitable, which is beneficial to the growth and maturity of seedlings. Before planting black beans, choose plots with fertile soil, good drainage and sufficient sunshine.

Step 2 apply fertilizer

Apply sufficient organic fertilizer before sowing to improve soil fertility. At the same time, appropriate amount of fertilizers such as phosphorus and potassium can be added during sowing to promote the growth of seedlings.

3. Soil preparation

Before sowing black beans, turn over the soil and loosen the soil so that the seeds can grow and germinate better in the later stage. After the soil preparation in spring, intensive cultivation should be carried out, and the ridge width should reach about 60 cm.

Step 4: Sowing.

Scatter black bean seeds evenly in the ditched soil. The distance between each ditching soil should be kept at about 20-30 cm, and the sowing depth is generally 3-4 cm. If the soil in the sowing area is sticky or the water content is good, it should be sown lightly. Water in time after sowing.

Step 5 manage

After the black beans are fully sown, the ridges and furrows should be deeply loosened in time so that the older grass in the field can be pulled out before the grass seeds are formed. This can not only increase the ground temperature, store water and conserve moisture, eliminate weeds, but also enhance the activity of microorganisms in the soil and promote the healthy growth of seedlings. Black beans have a long growth period, so besides weeding, loosening soil, watering and topdressing in time, we should also pay attention to the prevention and control of pests and diseases.
