Compare the similarities and differences in topography, climate and rivers between Taiwan Province Province and Japan.

Terrain: mainly mountainous terrain, with small plain area and more coastal areas. However, due to more mountains in Japan, the terrain is more broken and complicated.

Climate: Both places belong to subtropical monsoon climate, with high temperature and rainy summer and mild and little rain in winter. However, due to its high latitude, the temperature in Japan is lower than that in Taiwan Province Province, especially Hokkaido, and it belongs to temperate monsoon climate, which is the same as that in northern China.
