Hangzhou scenery

1. West Lake: Hangzhou is located in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, the western end of Hangzhou Bay, the lower reaches of Qiantang River and the southern end of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is an important central city in the Yangtze River Delta and a transportation hub in the southeast of China. The geographical coordinates of Hangzhou urban area are 30 degrees north latitude 16 minutes and 0/20 degrees east longitude 12 minutes. Hangzhou has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, mild and humid, abundant sunshine and rainfall. Annual average temperature 16.2℃, summer average temperature 28.6℃, winter average temperature 3.8℃. The frost-free period is 230-260 days. The annual average rainfall is 1435mm, and the average relative humidity is 76%.

West Lake is located in the center of Hangzhou, formerly known as Wulin Water, Qiantang Lake and Xizi Lake, and was called West Lake in the Song Dynasty. The Hunan is 3.3 kilometers long in the north and 2.8 kilometers wide in the east and west. The original water surface area is 5.66 square kilometers, of which the island in the lake is 6.3 square kilometers, and the circumference of the lake shore is 15 kilometers. The average water depth is about 2.27 meters, with the muddy part exceeding 5 meters and the shallowest part less than 1 meter. Today, the West Lake has expanded to 6.5 square kilometers, basically reaching the area of the West Lake 300 years ago. Su Causeway and Bai Causeway divided the lake into five parts: Lihu Lake, Waihu Lake, Yuehu Lake, Xili Lake and Xiaonanhu Lake. After the West Lake is connected with the Qiantang River, about 300,000 cubic meters of Qiantang River water is introduced every day, and the West Lake water changes from once a year to once a month, and the transparency is increased from less than 60 cm to 65,438 0.20 cm.

There were as many as 36 lakes named after the West Lake in ancient China, of which Hangzhou West Lake was the most famous. The West Lake is full of scenic spots. In addition to the "Ten Scenes of Qiantang" and "Eighteen Scenes of West Lake" in history, the most famous ones are the "Ten Scenes of West Lake" named in the Southern Song Dynasty and the "Ten Scenes of New West Lake" awarded by 1985. There are more than 40 major scenic spots and more than 30 key cultural relics and historic sites in the 60-square Axiom Garden scenic area centered on the West Lake. To sum up, the scenery of the West Lake is dominated by one lake, two peaks, three springs, four temples, five mountains, six gardens, seven caves, eight tombs, nine streams and ten views. 1982 West Lake was designated as a national scenic spot, and 1985 was named "Top Ten Scenic Spots in China". On May 8, 2007, Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area was officially approved by the National Tourism Administration as a national 5a-level tourist attraction.

2. Lingyin-Feilaifeng

When you travel to Hangzhou, you can see the West Lake and Lingyin. Lingyin is located next to Feilai Peak in the west of the West Lake, not far from the West Lake, which can be described as "a must".

According to legend, Huili, an Indian monk, came to Hangzhou in the early years of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It is said that Huili, an Indian monk, came to Hangzhou more than 600 years ago. When he saw the Qifeng here, he thought it was a "hidden fairy", so he built a temple here and named it Lingyin. There is a cold spring pavilion outside the Tianwang Hall of Lingyin Temple. It is said that when Su Dongpo was a satrap in Hangzhou, he often ate and wrote poems in Lengquange. The peaks in Lingyin area are grotesque and the scenery is absolutely different. Huili, an Indian monk, said, "This is the small ridge of jiusan, the transit of Zhu Guoling. Why did you fly here? " Therefore, it is called "Feilaifeng".

Feilaifeng is a rare artistic treasure in ancient grottoes in the south of the Yangtze River, which can be compared with Dazu stone carvings in Sichuan. Su Dongpo once wrote the poem "Xi Mountain is everywhere, and I love Lingyin Feilaifeng best".

1993, the newly opened "China Grottoes Art Collection Garden" in Lingyin Scenic Area has made use of the mountains of Feilaifeng to miniaturize the famous grotto art classic statues in China (such as Leshan Giant Buddha and Longmen Grottoes), which is worth seeing.

3. Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou

Lingyin Temple, also known as Yunlin Temple, is one of the famous tourist attractions in Hangzhou. Lingyin Temple was built in the first year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 326). At that time, Huili, an Indian monk, came to Hangzhou and saw the Qifeng here. He thought it was a "hidden spirit", so he built a temple here and named it Lingyin. During Kangxi's southern tour in the Qing Dynasty, Beifeng climbed to the top of the Range Rover behind the temple. He saw a lonely forest at the foot of the mountain, and the whole temple was shrouded in a faint morning fog, which made it very quiet, so he named Lingyin Temple "Yunlin Temple". The giant tablet of Yunlin Temple in front of Tianwang Temple is now the imperial pen of Emperor Kangxi.

4. Xiling printing press

Xiling Seal Society is a well-known academic group in China and a key cultural relic protection unit in Zhejiang Province. 1904 was founded by seal engravers Ding Ren,, and Wu Yin, with Wu Changshuo as the first president. Today, the Eastern Han Dynasty's "Sanlao taboo words to avoid the sun monument" and a number of famous stone carvings and cliff stone carvings have been preserved.

5 Longjing tea

One of the ten scenic spots of the new West Lake. Longjing, located on the wind ridge with dense bamboo forests in the west of West Lake, is named Dragon Fire, also known as Longqiao and Longjing, and is named after the spring water. Together with Yuquan Spring and Tiger Running Spring, it is called the three famous springs in Hangzhou. It was discovered in the Red Wu Period of the Three Kingdoms (238-25 1). There are many legends about Longjing. It is said that this well leads to the sea, and there must be dragons living here, hence the name "Longjing". He also quoted Su Dongpo's words that "there is a dragon in Long Qie through the ages", hence the name Longjing. According to legend, Ge Hong was an alchemist here during the Three Kingdoms period.
