Usage of cleaning agent for fuel system

1. Check the vehicle for faults and locate the oil pipes, fuses and related parts.

2. Ensure that the engine water temperature is between 80- 100℃.

3. Disconnect the oil pump circuit and loosen the fuel tank cover.

Objective: To interrupt the fuel transmission and release the pressure or vacuum in the fuel pipe.

Mode: Interrupt fuel pump circuit, such as fuse or relay.

4. In order to reduce the tubing pressure, start the engine, and the engine will automatically shut down after a few seconds.

5. Find the engine oil inlet pipe.

6. Find a suitable connector and replacement tube, and connect the other end to the outlet of the cleaning equipment. (Note: Please select the appropriate connector model for each vehicle type according to the equipment data. )

7. If there is an oil return pipe, please disconnect the vacuum hose on the oil pressure regulator, block the vacuum hose and the pressure regulating valve, and cut off the oil return end so that the cleaning agent will not return to the oil tank through the oil return pipe.

8. Confirm the cleaning equipment: put the outlet valve in the closed position (vertical direction) and rotate the compressed air pressure regulating valve counterclockwise to minimize the pressure.

9. Pour the fuel line cleaning agent into the cleaning equipment and lock the upper filling/discharging function valve.

10. The equipment is hung under the hood and connected with compressed air.

1 1. Adjust the pipeline pressure to the range value. For pressure specifications, please refer to the relevant maintenance manual.

12. Open the oil valve and check the pipeline for leakage.

13. Start the engine and run it at idle speed until the engine shuts itself down.

Note: To avoid damaging the fuel injector and fuel system components, do not increase the engine speed when cleaning.

14. After the operation, close the oil manual valve; Turn the pressure regulating valve counterclockwise to the end; Interrupt the air pipeline; Press the filling/exhausting function valve to release the internal pressure of the equipment; Open the oil manual valve again; Press the charging/discharging function valve twice to release the internal pressure of the equipment; Wipe the quick connector with a cloth and remove it.

15. Reinstall all connectors and connecting pipes.

16. Connect the oil pump circuit and lock the tank cover.

17. Start the engine, check whether the oil circuit leaks, and test the vehicle.
