There is always a brilliant image living in my heart. That's my dear father. To many others, my father seems to be a very ordinary person. But in my eyes, he is very special. Since childhood, I have always been surprised by his excellent qualities, such as diligence, dedication, carefulness and optimism. As a farmer, my father works hard in the fields all year round. He works from dawn to dusk every day, even until midnight of the harvest season. Even though there is not much farm work, he seldom enjoys leisure with other farmers. He chose a busy life instead of stopping to have a rest. Father gave everything he had to our family. Because we are poor, he always tries his best to support our family and pay the tuition for my brother and me. For the whole family, for my brother and me, he works hard in the fields all year round. Now, due to excessive hard work, his face is wrinkled and white-haired, and he looks older and weaker than anyone his age. Nevertheless, my father never complained to us. We have a better life now, thanks to his dedication. My brother and I can study in the university because of his dedication. Father cares about us children very much, and so does my mother. Whenever there is something delicious on the table, he leaves it to us and helps himself to something simple. If my brother and I are sick, he will not hesitate to bring us some medicine or take us to the doctor. My mother was seriously ill. Father takes care of her very carefully. No matter at home or in the field, he won't let his mother do heavy work. Mother appreciates him very much and often praises him as a model for her husband in front of everyone. Father is a man full of optimism. He never complains about our poor life. He is never depressed by difficulties. He often tells us that if we have enough confidence in life, everything will be fine. Because of his optimism, we all have the confidence to face our life and work. We all think that father is not ordinary at all. He plays a very important role in my family. We can't get anything without him. Now I am studying in a university far away from my father. I miss him very much. I often see him in my dreams. His great image is deeply engraved in my mind.
