How to remove Cadillac throttle pipe

Remove the plastic pipe of the air inlet, pry the middle of the plastic clip with a screwdriver, gently pull it out, and remove the air inlet. Then remove the pipe from the intake hose and loosen the screw near the throttle clamp with an 8 mm sleeve. Then loosen the screw at the other end and remove the air inlet hose between the air cleaner and the throttle.

How to clean the throttle:

Remove the hose of the carbon charging solenoid valve, and clamp it with pliers to remove it. Remove the hose in this way, and the other two pipes of the throttle valve are also removed. Note that the water pipe will drop a little water, and remove the throttle valve. The key tool is the ratchet wrench, and the same 8mm sleeve is used, which is much more convenient and quick. Otherwise, it will take a lot of effort to completely remove the throttle valve, which is still dirty. Be careful not to unplug the plug connected to the throttle valve at this time, and keep the connecting wire firmly in contact with the throttle valve during the whole cleaning process.
