As long as the engine is running, the throttle valve is always working. The so-called throttle valve is an oil-gas proportional mixing valve, so when the throttle valve is closed, no air enters and the engine cannot work. Normal idle speed means normal throttle. When the engine is started, the throttle valve will automatically reduce the intake air and increase the mixture concentration, which is beneficial to the start. After the successful start, the throttle will be fully opened, and the mixture concentration will be adjusted to a normal value to save fuel, so the idle speed will drop to about 800 rpm.
