Relationship between liver, lung and gallbladder

Liver governs ascending hair, lung governs descending, liver ascending lung descending, qi flowing smoothly, qi and blood prevail, and viscera are in harmony, so it is related to the ascending and descending movement of qi in human body.

The relationship between liver and lung is mainly reflected in the ascending and descending of qi and the movement of qi and blood.

1, qi goes up and down: "The liver is born in the left, and the lung is hidden in the right" (Su Wen's Theory of Forbidden Needles). The lung resides on the diaphragm, and the qi drops; The liver lives under the diaphragm and the qi rises. The liver rises from the left, and the lungs descend from the right. "The way of Yin and Yang is also left and right" (Su Wen, Yin and Yang should be like a big theory). The liver rises from left to yang, and the lung falls from right to yin. Liver ascending leads to lung descending, while lung descending leads to liver ascending. When properly ascending and descending, Qi-moving machine stretches human essence, qi, blood and body fluid, while liver ascending leads to lung descending, so as to maintain the normal ascending and descending of Qi-moving machine.

2. Blood gas operation: the qi operation of liver and lung is actually the qi operation of blood. The liver stores blood and regulates the whole body blood; The lung governs qi, controlling and regulating qi in one. The function of the lung to regulate the whole body's qi needs the nourishment of blood, and the liver must rely on the promotion of qi to transport blood to all parts of the body. In a word, the operation of qi and blood in the whole body depends on the control of the heart, but it is also restricted by the functions of the main joints of the lung, the liver controlling the discharge and storing blood, so the two viscera also have a certain regulating effect on the operation of qi and blood.

Under pathological conditions, the physiological dysfunction between liver and lung is mainly manifested as abnormal ascending and descending of qi-flow, and poor circulation of qi and blood, such as the syndrome of liver fire invading lung (also known as wood fire).
