Using the minimal compressibility of water, water is stored in the tank by external force, and the gas is compressed and the pressure increases. When the external force disappears, the compressed gas expands to remove water. Because the compression ratio of water is much smaller than that of gas, when there is a small flow leakage in the pipe network, the pressure can be greatly reduced and the pump can be started frequently. If the power frequency pump directly supplies water to users, it must be equipped with a pneumatic tank to alleviate the frequent start of the pump.
