Matters needing attention in rice harvesting:

1, early drainage. Drain the water in the rice fields as much as possible, and dig ditches to drain the water in the low-lying fields as soon as possible if necessary.

2, suitable for harvesting. When more than 95% of rice glumes are yellow, the grains are hard and transparent, artificial harvesting is carried out. Mechanical harvesting can be delayed for several days.

3, pay attention to the way. Artificial cutting and drying can increase 1000-grain weight and yield, and at the same time, rice has good commodity and high germination rate. It is best not to harvest with a full-feed harvester, otherwise the rice will have many branches and the glume damage rate will be high.

4. Dry in time. Hand-cut thin and spread evenly for 2 days, then bundle small handles and turn them over for 2 days, thresh and dry them, and pile them up in time in rainy days. Mechanically harvested rice should not be bagged or stored for a long time. It should be spread in the sun in time, lightly paved and plowed several times a day, and the big branches, broken leaves and false smut should be removed. When the water content of seeds drops below 15%, they are stored in fashion bags.
