How much do you know about pneumatic actuators?
Pneumatic actuators are actuators that drive valves to open or close or adjust through pneumatic pressure, which are also called pneumatic actuators or pneumatic devices, but are generally called pneumatic heads. This paper expounds the technical requirements of pneumatic indenter. Pneumatic actuators's actuating mechanism and adjusting mechanism are a unified whole, and its actuating mechanism includes diaphragm type, piston type, fork type and rack and pinion type. The piston has a long stroke, which is suitable for occasions requiring large thrust; The diaphragm type has a small stroke and can only directly drive the valve stem. Fork pneumatic actuator has the characteristics of large torque and small space. The torque curve is more in line with the torque curve of the valve, but it is not very beautiful. Usually used for high torque valves. The rack-and-pinion pneumatic actuator has the advantages of simple structure, stable and reliable action, safety and explosion-proof, and is widely used in production processes with high safety requirements such as power plants, chemicals and oil refining. Actuators are divided into pneumatic, electric and hydraulic types according to energy forms, each with its own characteristics and suitable for different occasions. Pneumatic actuators is a kind of actuator. Pneumatic actuators can also be divided into single-acting and double-acting: the switching action of actuators is driven by air source, which is called double-acting. The spring reset (single action) switch is driven by air source only when it is turned on, and the spring is reset when it is turned off. Power system and electrical system are not mutually exclusive. Pneumatic actuator can simply realize rapid linear circular motion, with simple structure and convenient maintenance, and can be used in various harsh working environments, such as explosion-proof requirements, dusty or humid working environments. However, when the force increases rapidly and precise positioning is needed, the electric drive with servo motor has advantages. For applications that require accurate, synchronous operation, adjustable and specified positioning programming, electric drive is the best choice, and the electric drive system composed of servo or stepping motor and closed-loop positioning controller can supplement the shortcomings of pneumatic system.
