Increase the amount of air sucked into the cylinder.

Lowering the intake temperature will increase the gas density, that is, in a certain space, more gas will enter the cylinder, which is more conducive to fuel combustion, output more power, reduce the emission of harmful gases, and realize energy saving and emission reduction.

Precautions:

The air temperature sensor has a negative temperature coefficient. Temperature increases, resistance decreases, temperature decreases and resistance increases. With the change of resistance in the circuit, the voltage changes, thus generating different voltage signals and completing the automatic operation of the control system.

When the car is cold, the signal of the air temperature sensor is basically the same as that of the engine water temperature sensor, while when the car is hot, its signal voltage is about 2~3 times that of the water temperature sensor.
