How to adjust the idle speed of EJ 6 EFI engine?
Idle speed refers to the state that the internal combustion engine (commonly called "engine") keeps the lowest running speed. No matter how high or low the idle speed is, when the idle speed is too high: excessive speed intensifies the friction. At the same time, idle oil supply is very strong, and gasoline atomization is poor, which also promotes the formation of larger oil droplets. It's only a matter of time before the oil burns out.
Idle speed is too low, which directly leads to low speed of oil pump and insufficient oil pressure. Especially for riding vehicles, a certain oil pressure is needed between the camshaft and the bearing to form an oil film with a certain thickness to ensure lubrication. Therefore, if the idle speed is too low, it is easy to cause abnormal nose sound and camshaft damage.
