4. Nozzle wear, high fuel injection rate leads to high idle speed.

The solution to the problem that the idle speed of the engine cannot be lowered;

1. Check whether the throttle valve is completely closed at idle speed and whether the throttle cable is stuck. Pull the throttle rocker arm in the closing direction by hand. If the idle speed of the engine can be reduced to normal speed, it means that the throttle is not properly connected.

2. If the accelerator cable is stuck, replace the cable; If the throttle shaft is stuck, remove and clean the throttle body.

3, according to the provisions of the engine program, readjust the idle speed, reset the engine computer. The so-called engine computer reset is to erase the fault memory in the engine computer and let it learn idle speed again.

4. For most electronically controlled engines, when the engine reaches normal temperature and the idle valve is completely closed, the basic idle speed is set to (500 50) rpm. If the adjustment and setting are invalid, further check should be made.
