ESP- electronic stabilizer
● Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
△.ESP is actually a traction control system. Compared with other traction control systems, ESP can control not only the driving wheel but also the driven wheel.
●ESP includes the following components:
△. Steering sensor: Monitor the rotation angle of the steering wheel to help determine whether the car is driving in the right direction.
△. Wheel sensor: Monitor the speed of each wheel to determine whether the wheel slips.
△. Side slip sensor: records the movement of the car around the vertical axis to determine whether the car slips.
△. Lateral acceleration sensor: it responds to the centrifugal force generated when turning and judges whether the car skids when passing through the corner.
●ESP currently has three types:
△. Four-channel or four-wheel system can independently and automatically apply braking force to all four wheels;
△. Dual-channel system that can only independently apply braking force to two front wheels;
△. Three-channel system can independently apply braking force to two front wheels and only apply braking force to the rear wheels together.
TCS- Drive Accelerated Sliding Adjustment
TCS (ASR): traction control system drives acceleration slip adjustment TCS(ASR): traction control system).
Delta. The role of delta. TCS is to control the slip of the car during acceleration within a certain range to prevent the driving wheel from slipping quickly. Its first function is to improve traction; The second is to maintain the driving stability of the car.
The traction control of automobile can reduce the engine power by reducing the throttle opening, and can also achieve the goal by braking control and wheel slip. Cars equipped with TCS work by combining these two ways, namely ABS/TCS.
ABS- braking anti-lock system
ABS system can make the four wheels of an automobile be detected by four independent sensors under any working conditions, and control each wheel independently, so that the four wheels are in the best braking state, and can ensure that any wheel will not lock up when braking on any road surface, especially rainy road surface and ice and snow road surface, so as to prevent the automobile from slipping, tail flick and steering failure, thus making the automobile have good braking efficiency, stability and steering performance, and improving the steering performance of the automobile.
electric brakeforce dis tribution
EBD is an auxiliary function of ABS, and the full name of EBD is "electronic braking force distribution system". It has two functions, one is to ensure the braking force balance of four tires on different roads. The other is to ensure that the rear of the car will not shake when the car suddenly brakes at high speed. Even if ABS fails, EBD can ensure that the vehicle will not roll over due to tail flick. EBD is an upgrade software for ABS. EBD is not hardware. It realizes the reasonable distribution of braking force through software without adding new hardware. ABS with EBD is usually represented by "ABS+", which is equivalent to the software upgrade of ABS. For automobile manufacturers, choosing which ABS to use computer is the same as choosing Win95 or Win98.
EBA- Emergency Brake Assist Device
EBA system monitors the movement of brake pedal through time base.
Once it detects that the speed of stepping on the brake pedal increases sharply, and the driver continues to step on the brake pedal vigorously, it will release the stored hydraulic pressure of 180 bar and exert the maximum braking force.
Once the driver releases the brake pedal, the EBA system will switch to standby mode.
Because the maximum braking force is applied earlier, the emergency braking assistance device can significantly shorten the braking distance.
EBA will start the full braking force in a few milliseconds, which is much faster than most drivers can move their feet. EBA can significantly shorten the emergency braking distance and help prevent rear-end collisions in stop-and-go traffic.
DSC- dynamic stability control
The third-generation DSC system developed by BMW adopts the mechanisms of anti-lock braking (ABS), four-wheel traction control and "turning braking control" (CBC), which can ensure the stability of the car even under the worst driving conditions.
If it is detected that the car may be taxiing, the DSC system will reduce the engine power and apply additional braking force to specific wheels when necessary, so as to take necessary corrective measures for the car.
Therefore, DSC can stabilize the car on the selected road within 1 sec.
However, even such an advanced system cannot violate the laws of nature, so drivers should always keep their best condition, know the road conditions and drive with heart.
DSC contains complex computer control technology, namely "stability algorithm", which can identify the trailer load and automatically compensate the increased vehicle load.
