Materials of traditional long summer rice
Traditional long-summer rice is made of red beans, soybeans, black beans, mung beans and mung beans. In the old Long Summer Festival, five-color beans such as red beans, soybeans, black beans, mung beans and mung beans were mixed with white japonica rice to make "five-color rice", also known as long summer rice. At present, some families in urban and rural areas in Ningbo still retain this ancient style, but the ingredients of long summer rice are replaced by five other foods, namely broad beans, soybeans, bamboo shoots and mustard greens, and bacon or bacon, which is called five kinds of rice.
Long-summer rice is a traditional food in the southern part of the long-summer solar terms. Popular in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, it first spread from rural areas in Ningbo. The traditional long summer rice is made of five kinds of ingredients, while the common long summer rice is made of five kinds of beans, such as red beans, soybeans, black beans, mung beans and white rice, which not only has good color matching, but also has the meaning of bumper harvest. Because a variety of things are cooked together, it is particularly rich. Therefore, eating five-color rice in the long summer festival means being healthy all year round.
