What festival is Kongming's lantern? What festival is Kongming's lantern?
2. Kongming Lantern, also known as sky lantern, commonly known as wishing lantern and praying sky lantern, is an ancient Han handicraft.
In ancient times, Kongming Lantern was mainly used for military purposes. Modern people put lanterns on Kongming lanterns, mainly to pray for blessings. Men, women and children personally write down their wishes for blessings, symbolizing a bumper harvest and happiness every year.
Kongming's lanterns are usually set off on major festivals such as Lantern Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.
The drifting direction of Kongming Lantern is beyond people's control, and people can only "resign themselves to fate". Once the wind direction is unstable or improperly set off after liftoff, Kongming lanterns will directly threaten the safety of airplanes, high-voltage power supply equipment, communication facilities, mountains and various buildings, and do great harm to ground fire safety.
