Why is it so cold in early winter?

Usually when the weather is cold in early winter, it will be colder in winter, which can freeze pests to death and is beneficial to the growth of crops. When it is hotter at the beginning of winter, it will be warmer all winter, and people will be more likely to live in winter without freezing to death. So there is no difference between hot and cold in early winter.

There are many sayings about rural beginning of winter. For example, "It's sunny in beginning of winter and cold in beginning of winter", "It's warm in winter and cold in beginning of winter" and so on. It's the solar term in beginning of winter. Some old people in rural areas say that early winter should be sunny, not rainy. If it is sunny in early winter, it means that it will get warmer all winter. In fact, this is just a farmer's statement and a summary of experience. If it doesn't rain on this day, it doesn't mean that the whole winter will be sunny or warm. It is possible that it doesn't rain in beginning of winter that day, and it may become dry and cold all winter, or even drop into ice in winter.
