How to judge that the throttle is broken

Common manifestations of throttle damage:

1. If the accelerator is broken, the epc light on the instrument will light up. This indicates that there is something wrong with the electronic throttle control system.

2. The cold car is not easy to start, and the throttle rushes into the car. Idle speed is unstable. Black smoke.

3. If the vehicle cannot be started, the diagnostic instrument will check and the engine system will report that the throttle valve is damaged or the sensor is unreliable.

4. The failure of flameout often occurs when the vehicle is taxiing.

5. Measure the throttle opening with a diagnostic instrument to see if it is within the normal range. If the throttle angle is still too large after cleaning, it needs to be replaced.

6. The basic setting of the throttle cannot be successful, and the throttle needs to be replaced after the problems of the circuit, battery and engine control unit are eliminated.

The most accurate way to judge whether the throttle is damaged is to check the throttle with a scan tool, observe the data flow, and clean it if the throttle opening is large. If it is determined that the fault of the throttle valve is permanent, it must be replaced. Generally, the throttle cannot be disassembled for maintenance, only the assembly can be replaced.
