1, Pteridium aquilinum is usually picked from May to June every year, and no later than July. This vegetable can be harvested once 15-20 years, preferably when the seedlings grow to 25-40 cm high, and about two thirds can be harvested each time.
2. Picking bracken in March-May; Pteridium aquilinum can be picked from February to August. Pteridium aquilinum in Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Hebei are picked around May and June.
