The Origin of July 2nd International Sports Journalists' Day

At the 58th Congress of the International Association of Sports Journalists (AIPS) held in Canada from 65438 to 0995, July 2nd of each year was designated as "International Sports Journalists' Day", calling on all member associations to hold various forms of celebrations on July 2nd of each year.

AIPS was established in Paris, France on July 2nd, 1924. At present, there are 125 member associations. China Sports Journalists Association was accepted as a full member by AIPS Moscow Congress on 1978.
